Afriville is a Nigerian social networking site, which rocks by the way. It is like the African myspace in Nigeria and around. Afriville undisputed in the heavy weight when it comes to African social networks. I covered others like blueworld, jujunation, afrovibe but they all take a bit of a dive in comparison to Afriville.
This is in terms of size, videos available, users and anything else which makes a social network a social network.
To bore you, this is how they decribe themselves
“Afriville.com is a social network, a place to meet friends, look at photos, share content and look forevents happening in and around you.”This is a place designed to stimulate the African man or woman, through the tools of social communication whether its meeting people, sharing opinions on the forum, starting groups on issues important to you, or the soon to be released blogging platform within the site.”
I didn’t join, I will later. Maybe.

African Path now has a social networking component with almost 500 members. It is a pretty good site and it is growing by the day.
