Africa mapIn Africa, there is very minimal presence of the big giants of the internet. Considering Africa is made up of about 53 or so countries you would think they would have somewhat of a presence here, but NO.

It maybe has to do with the fact that Africa has the lowest internet penetration in the world. Its around about 5%. The good news is that Africa is sort of poised to explode after the rest, so the prospect of making money here is possible.

Google always the guys to catch up quickly have already started plans to set up shop here. A look at their blogs, show that they are looking for local people to recruit to join the Google camp.

Right now they’re looking for Associate Product Marketing, Geographic Consultant, Office Associate, Strategic Partner Development (SPD), Local Markets, and Technical Support Associate.
